Maybe you've tried outsourcing and got burned, or you just want to pretend your finances don't exist (I get it).
But a business that doesn't stay on top of its books can't reach its full potential.
When your books are handled with care, it’s not just about staying organized.
It’s about creating space—space to focus, space to rest, and space to show up fully in your business and your life.
That’s what I'm here for: dependable bookkeeping that works with your life, not against with it.

I've been obsessed with finance and business for as long as I can remember.
I was the 7 year old rereading 100x over "A Smart Girl's Guide to Money" and writing down different business ideas.
At 10 years old I went door-to-door to market my trash can rolling business in my neighborhood (yes, really).
I have degrees in both accounting and finance, but working 60+ hour weeks for a big accounting firm was something I knew I never wanted to do.
For years, I was a stay-at-home mom while my husband worked in the biotech industry.
We wanted more time as a family, so we took a step of faith. I started Coyne Bookkeeping to build a life that prioritized what actually matters:
faith, family, and balance.

But I wanted this business to be different. Having worked for other firms, I saw firsthand a lot of the problems small business owners have mentioned to me—bookkeepers who didn't reconcile monthly or deliver accurate reports. Costly mistakes that didn't surface until tax time.
I started this business with a simple promise: do the work right, communicate clearly, and provide actual support.
That means I actually respond to emails, explain what your numbers mean, catch mistakes before they become problems, and treat your business like it matters—because it does.
My husband and I both come from broken families and because of this, we understand how much value true relationships hold.
That's why family and relationships shape how I run this business.
I work with clients who value the same things I do: being present for the people who matter most, building something meaningful, and refusing to let work consume their lives.
This business exists so I can support small business owners while also showing up for what matters most in my own life. That's not just my goal for myself, it's what I want to help you achieve too.

That’s why Coyne Bookkeeping was built on four core values:

I follow through. Every time.
From reconciliations to reports, you can count on me to handle your books with accuracy and care.

Details matter.
I don’t just do the job—I do it well. Every transaction gets reviewed, every account gets reconciled properly, every time.

Transparency in everything.
You always know what's happening with your books. I communicate proactively, explain clearly, and never leave you guessing.

Life comes first.
I built this business around that belief. Life is about more than work, and I'm here to help you create space for what matters most.

1. Watching The Office… again (it really is the best show)
2. Scrolling through photos of the kids literally taken an hour ago
3. Arguing with my husband about whether a word is allowed in Scrabble
4. Trying to finish a book I’ve been reading for months (but mostly just getting distracted)
5. Starting a new batch of kombucha and feeding the sourdough starter child
